An Evening of Folk Song and Dance in celebration of Lucy Broadwood

A special fundraising concert to be held in Rusper Church to raise funds to refurbish Lucy Broadwood's grave, and to celebrate the importance of her life and work.

(Apologies to Louise Holford-Walker for the typos in her name! )

We would suggest that if you intend to buy on the door it would be advisable to ring to check the availability of tickets before setting out.

Other forthcoming projects
I have also been offered the chance to give one of my talks on Lucy Broadwood in the church at some point later this year.
and to contribute to a recording of the songs collected by Lucy Broadwood in 1892 from Patience Vaisey a gardener's wife, in Adwell, Oxfordshire . It is also likely that I may be giving a talk on Lucy in Surrey History Centre in 2018, although this has yet to be confirmed.

Details of all of these are yet to be finalised.
